A village related to the legend of commander Weediya Bandara

Palaagama is a village situated about five kilometres from Kahathuduwa junction (Colombo-Horana main road). It is an old village with a legend dating back to the time of commander Weediya Bandara. It is said that Weediya Bandara's princess fled to this village to escape enemies.
